This full-time position will report directly to the Area Manager and will be responsible for the management and growth of 100 or so farmers. The person will be responsible for an entire store in the area, dealing with farmers, and influential people in the surrounding area.

  • Manage the store, giving loans and buying and selling of products
  • Identify progressive, high moral character farmers and build them into communities
  • Regularly host farmer groups to provide technical training workshops, financial education seminars, and promote knowledge sharing
  • Budgeting and maintaining actual financial records of the store
  • Keeping an up to date knowledge of pests and diseases in the respective area
  • Conduct various surveys to identify demand/need of agricultural inputs from farmers and organizing sales of ag-inputs
  • Meeting the sales target in the defined geographical area and taking ownership for entire sales for a particular crop cycle
  • Engage with farmers and reach a realistic and affordable repayment plan which is informed with an accurate financial statement
  • Follow up in case of recovery
