The conference is intended to bring together safflower researchers in diverse fields from public and private sector, developing and developed countries, progressive farmers, self-help groups and non-governmental organizations to share knowledge and technology in safflower. It is a unique platform to review and debate the current achievements and constraints in safflower research and to define future prospects and strategies that could address the challenges in improving safflower production and sustenance in the world. The conference would provide excellent networking opportunities among safflower scientists of the world and offer an international exposure to conference participants.
