- 2-5 years’ experience in Sales and marketing of Agriculture inputs
One of the agriculture company is looking for below mentioned position in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh (Based in Indore or Bhopal) West Bengal and NE States (Based in Siliguri).
- Developing Sales channels for current products by appointing Dealers and Distributors across the states.
- Organising sales promotion by creating awareness about the products by participating in exhibition, workshops, agriculture fair, interaction with Agriculture and Horticulture departments.
- Provides general technical knowledge on Koppert products to customers by Promoting the use the entire line of Koppert product offerings for the greenhouse vegetables market and open field crops with current and prospective customers.
- Providing technical support to growers through regular client visits.
- Achieves sales objectives for the assigned customer portfolio, products and crops in the territory by Meeting sales growth objectives as defined at the beginning of every year. Inform management in case of devations of the business processess and deviations of the realization of the Sales plan.
- Communicating to sales and technical manager his/her sales plan, which should include activities like visits to clients, acquisition of new customers, field trials, workshops and meetings with clients and colleagues.
- Develops market and manages existing and prospective clients by developing and maintaining accurate customer records detailing crops, acreage, products used, etc.
- Provides accurate product forecasts by developing biological control programs and technical protocols for assigned customers, including Koppert’s existing and new products, services and technologies, in coordination with the Technical Manager.
- Supports the sales realization process by informing the customer service department about product orders and supporting the order and invoice processes, when necessary.
- Providing support in managing clients complaints according to procedure.
- Graduation in Agriculture / Horticulture from reputed institutes. Post-Graduation in Agri Business management can also be considered.
- 2-5 years’ experience in Sales and marketing of Agriculture inputs like seeds, fertilizers, bio products, agricultural equipment and allied sector.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethics
- Computer literate
- Willing to travel extensively and flexible.
Salary will commensurate with the qualification and experience and will be on par with the industry standards. Annual CTC would be in the range of Rs. 3.5 lakhs to 4.5 lakhs.
