About Cultyvate

We are a brand new startup and we are building a sophisticated farm cultivation solution that integrates IoT sensors, crop models and artificial intelligence, to deliver significantly higher crop yield and quality. We have collaboration with leading research universities in the country like Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and University Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore for joint research and development of our solution.

We are self funded right now and relatively small setup working out of a small house. We are looking for smart people to join us from the initial stages of the venture and grow with the company. We are looking for people who are entrepreneurial in nature and who do not expect a formal office setup with sophisticated facilities in the first year of our operations.  

Job Description:

Who we are looking for:

1. A formal degree in Agricultural Sciences.

2. Atleast 3 years of selling agricultural products like irrigation systems, agricultural vehicles, farm equipments etc to large contract farming companies, resellers and individuals. Should be able to demonstrate high volume and high value sales targets achieved in the past 1 year.

3. Should have extensive network of people associated with the agricultural industry.

4. Should have knowledge of various pricing models for agricultural products.

5. Should be able to work in an individual capacity till a team is required to be formed.

6. Should have traveled extensively within the country to rural areas to understand the farmer and farming practices.

7. Since we are starting from Karnataka and then South of India, must be fluent in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. Ability to communicate clearly in English and Hindi are mandatory to be able to negotiate with large corporates.
